The talent of Stardom will be featured in a match during night one of New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 14 event.
The announcement was made during Stardom’s “Year End Climax” event on 12/24 at Korakuen Hall.
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! Stardom will have a match at Wrestle Kingdom 14!
According to Super J-Cast, the match will be a dark match, with the belief being due to TV Asahi’s affiliation with NJPW. STARDOM runs on TOKYO MXT/NTV, a rival network.
In October, Bushiroad, the parent company of New Japan Pro Wrestling purchased Stardom.
The promotion is managed by Kix Road Inc. a subsidiary of Bushiroad.
Stardom is a Japanese women’s promotion, founded in 2010 by Rossy Ogawa, Fuka Kakimoto, and Nanae Takahashi.
Participants in the Wrestle Kingdom 14 match have yet to be announced.
