Tenille Dashwood has left IMPACT Wrestling.
Shortly after she was removed from IMPACT Wrestling’s roster page, it was reported by PWInsider that Tenille Dashwood had left the promotion after her contract expired.
Following the report, Dashwood took to Twitter to seemingly confirm her free agency in a tweet which received an interesting reply from her real-life partner and SmackDown Superstar, Madcap Moss, as you can see below.
Dashwood had worked in IMPACT for over three years, and during her tenure became a one-time IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champion with Madison Rayne, who now works in AEW. Her final match with the company was a loss to Masha Slamovich during the tapings on July 2, 2022.
Prior to this, Dashwood had been with WWE for around six years. Signing with the company in 2011, Dashwood went on to compete on both NXT and Raw under the name ‘Emma’. Following an injury she sustained in 2016, WWE repackaged her as ‘Emmalina’, however after seventeen weeks of promoting the character, she finally returned before promptly announcing that she would be going back to being Emma, as creative dropped the ‘Emmalina’ gimmick.
While Tenille’s next move within wrestling is not clear, she has wrestled in WWE, Ring Of Honor, AEW and Impact, as well as numerous independent promotions around the world.
Dashwood recently spoke on Instagram about being able to wrestle in World Series Wrestling in her home country of Australia. Dashwood has had four matches with the promotion since leaving IMPACT.
My first love. Wrestling has been my life for as long as I can remember. There’s nothing quite like the feeling I get when I come out on that stage. This past week was extra special for me though, being able to tour my home country – Australia. I felt like everything had come full circle.. And really, I just want to say thank you!
Thank you to @worldserieswrestling and the entire crew for working your asses off and putting on such an amazing show. It was a pleasure to be a part of the team. I’d do that tour every night of the week if I could. Thank you to our incredible fans. I had so many touching conversations and memorable moments this past week that I will never forget. I wouldn’t be where I am without all of your support! Thank you to my family for supporting me through this crazy journey, even when l’ve been so far away for so many years. Having you guys there this week meant a lot to me. I really feel so fortunate to be able to lead a life I love. I found myself having intense moments of gratitude and really just wanted to recognize that and never take any of it for granted. Thank you all.
