All Elite Wrestling has signed one of the most memorable broadcasters from WCW.

According to Dave Meltzer, Tony Schiavone has reached a deal with All Elite Wrestling. Schiavone has been making appearances for AEW, but according to MLW founder Court Bauer he is under exclusive contract with MLW.

This news comes after Bauer released a statement last month stating he didn’t know Shiavone has been making appearances for AEW. He also stated that Schiavone couldn’t make appearances for any other promotions.

“Unless AEW elects to reach out, Tony Schiavone cannot proceed with AEW or any other company doing anything.” Bauer stated last month. “I was unaware of him doing the digital stuff until I read it in this week’s Observer.”

In 2017, Schiavone signed deal with MLW. It’s unknown if Schiavone was given an early release, or if a deal was reached between MLW and AEW.

Major League Wrestling released the following statement following the news that he signed a deal with AEW
