USDA Blames Technical Glitch In Testing Data

The United States Anti-Doping Agency has issued a statement after a recent “technical glitch” had led to inaccurate data on Brock Lesnar’s testing history.

In October, the USADA records showed Lesnar had submitted six tests since being re-instated in the drug testing pool, but that number changed to five recently.

According to an ESPN report, the original update stating six tests were done is flawed, and the correct number should be give. According to USADA, Brock Lesnar was the only athlete affected by this glitch.

“During an update on the week of October 15th, we experienced a technical issue that resulted in the information on the page being displayed incorrectly”

Jeff Novitszsky, UFC VP of Athlete Health and Performance told ESPN that the organization has no concerns regarding  the issue. Lesnar has completed one urine test this quarter, and it came back negative.

Lesnar re-entered the USADA testing pool five months ago after testing positive for clomiphene, which is a banned substance in 2016.

Lesnar is currently under contract with the WWE, and is expected to stay with the company till Wrestlemania 35.
