John Morrison WWE Contract Signing Confirmed

WWE Backstage has confirmed the signing of John Morrison.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider originally reported in September that John Hennigan aka John Morrison signed a contract with WWE.

Tonight during WWE Backstage, Ryan Satin confirmed on air, Morrison has indeed signed with the company.

WWE is still working out creative ideas for Morrison, which is why he has yet to make his debut on television.

WWE.com confirmed the news, indicating Morrison has signed a multi-year deal with the company.

John Morrison is headed back to WWE’s squared circle after agreeing to a multi-year contract with WWE.

The Guru of Greatness is set to bring his Hollywood style back to WWE for the first time since 2011. A former Tag Team and Intercontinental Champion, Morrison is still fondly remembered by the WWE Universe for his unique and exciting in-ring style, which was influenced by his extensive background in parkour.

Morrison is a former WWE Intercontinental and Tag-Team Champion. He also held the WWE’s version of the ECW Championship.

He had successful runs with Lucha Underground as Johnny Mundo, and more recently with IMPACT Wrestling as Johnny Impact.

Morrison left IMPACT Wrestling this past July following the Slammiversary pay-per-view.

It’s unknown which brand he will be on once he debuts on television.
