WWE has filed a trademark for the name Mei Ying to be used as under entertainment services by a professional wrestler.
The trademark was filed on 2/3 with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and entered into the internal database on 2/6.
The name is related to the ongoing storyline involving NXT’s Xi Li and Boa, with Tian Sha being the main character of the group
During the latest episode of NXT on USA, an origin story segment played, providing background on Tian Sha, who grew up as Mei Ying.
