WWE announcer Greg “Hamilton” Hutson has been released from the company.
As first reported by PWInsider, Hamilton was released earlier this week, after spending six years with the company.
A few days ago, Hamilton took to Instagram, threatening to sue rapper Westside Gunn for sampling his voice on a track named “Undertaker vs. Goldberg”. He claimed he would be using WWE lawyers to file a lawsuit if Gunn didn’t pay him $20,000. He later deleted the post.
Tick….tock…..the longer this goes, the longer I have in court….you ready to settle or do you wanna dance with WWE lawyers? It’s a slam dunk. Price goes up by the day….
It was 20k, but at noon eastern it’s $30k and we go to court.

It’s unknown if his release was a result from his legal threats against the Buffalo rapper.
