According to New Jersey’s legal code 2A:10-1 Contempt constitutes as the following –
2A:10-1. What constitutes contempt in general
The power of any court of this state to punish for contempt shall not be construed to extend to any case except the:a. Misbehavior of any person in the actual presence of the court;
b. Misbehavior of any officer of the court in his official transactions; and
c. Disobedience or resistance by any court officer, or by any party, juror, witness or any person whatsoever to any lawful writ, process, judgment, order, or command of the court.
As first reported by PWInsider, Tammy is currently incarcerated in Monmouth County Corrections facility in Freehold, NJ.
Sytch had a bench warrant issued in the State of Pennsylvania on 2/15. The Carbon County, PA probation department has also filed a motion to revoke parole granted to Sytch in October of last year.
According to court records, Tammy Sytch was ordered to make payments to reimburse the State Of Pennsylvania for costs involved in her legal cases from last year.
Sytch made payments of $120 for two months, but did not make any additional payments.
Sytch was arrested last year, and sent to the same holding facility where she currently is staying. Last year’s arrest came after a failed court appearance for two DUI arrests.
Last year’s arrest stemmed from incidents in Pennsylvania in 2017. A motion was filed in August of 2017 requesting her February 2017 parole from Carbon County, PA.
Sytch was extradited back to Carbon County, PA in March 2018. She spent 7 months behind bars, and was released in October 2018.
Tammy Sytch’s court ordered conditions include no consumption, control, or possession of alcohol and/or non-prescription medication. She is also ordered to undergo testing to ensure she is adhering to the order.
Any additional details will be updated as they are known.
