WWE Comments On KKK Video Displayed During Monday Night RAW

WWE seemingly is having a hard time policing the imagery seen inside the WWE ThunderDome. The company has strict guidelines on virtual fans, but some have fallen through the censors.

During the main event of Monday Night RAW, one virtual fan displayed a KKK video, which was seen for several seconds in the closing moments of the show.

WWE has issued a statement to Pro Wrestling Sheet, indicating they have a zero tolerance policy on these types of acts. The company is working to ban anyone involved in future events.

“This abhorrent behavior does not reflect WWE‘s values and we have zero tolerance for these unacceptable acts. We are working to ban those involved from future events and per our policies, any inappropriate actions result in the removal from the live stream.”

WWE has thousands of fans entering the ThunderDome, and constantly refreshes the video wall throughout each show. The company has produced three events using virtual fans.

The following imagery passed through WWE censors, and were displayed on broadcasts.

  • Fire Velveteen Dream Sign
  • Chris Benoit Photo
  • GCW Logo
  • MJF2020 Sign
