NXT Star Set To Work Dark Match Tonight
WWE is making their highly anticipated return to the road beginning tonight with Friday Night SmackDown in Houston.
In recent weeks, a number of NXT stars have worked dark matches and/or WWE main event tapings, including Karrion Kross, Bronson Reed, Shotzi Blackheart, Tegan Nox, Scarlett, and Toni Storm.
According to Fightful Select (subscription required), Xia Li is planned to work a dark match ahead of tonight’s broadcast. It’s unknown who she will face, but it’s expected to be in front of fans.
It’s unknown if WWE has plans to call her up to the main roster, or is simply giving her a look in front of a large audience.
