Braun Strowman Returning To WWE?

One of the most shocking talent releases from WWE over the last couple of months was former Universal champion Braun Strowman, as the Monster Among Men was one of the few homegrown WWE talents that seemed to be pushed well, and had a good relationship with fans.

However, it now seems that he may be headed back to his former company.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is interested in bringing Strowman back onto their roster, with the report noting that the interest from AEW in Daniel Bryan and CM Punk may have played a part.

Shortly after Strowman’s release news surfaced that AEW did have an eye on him, with WWE Hall of Famer and current AEW employee Mark Henry stating he would love to add Strowman to the talented AEW lineup.

Strowman’s 90-day non-compete clause officially ends on August 31st.

While WWE wants Strowman back there is currently no word on if Strowman hopes to return. It should be known that WWE did add some of his merchandise back on WWE shop, but it is unknown if that was on purpose or an error.

We’ll keep you updated on Strowman’s status.
