For the last few weeks a top story in the industry has been the future of NXT, as the once pitched third-brand of WWE now looks to transition back to its original purpose, a developmental program to help build up stars for the company’s future.
NXT has since been given a new colorful logo, as well as a more contemporary hip-hop theme done by artist Wale. Bryan Alvarez off F4WOnline first reported that NXT was also going to fall into the hands of Bruce Prichard and Vince McMahon in terms of creative and storyline, but a new report now adds some much needed clarification.
According to WrestleVotes, the day to day operations of NXT are still very much in the hands of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Matt Bloom, and on-screen general manager William Regal. The report does note that the look of the program is set to have a more “Vince & Company” stamp on it, an indication that it will most likely resemble more of what the Raw and SmackDown broadcasts look like.
After talking to sources regarding NXT: the day to day operation isn’t changing that drastically. Still very much in the hands of HHH, HBK, Regal, Bloom etc
However, the look of the weekly TV product will have a “Vince & Co” stamp on it. I expect it to be subtle to start… then?
