Million Dollar Belt Featured On Official NXT Takeover: In Your House Poster

WWE will present its second annual NXT Takeover: In Your House pay-per-view later this month.

HeelByNature.com has obtained the official poster for the event, which seemingly confirms the return of the Million Dollar Belt.

The poster, which showcases the two main events also includes The Million Dollar Belt hanging from a white picket fence.

The event will feature a match between LA Knight and Cameron Grimes, with “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase at ringside. The title will presumably be presented to the winner of that match.

Over the last month, Ted DiBiase has been appearing on NXT programming, and reports have recently surfaced revealing the return of the belt.

NXT Takeover: In Your House Match Card

  • NXT Championship: Karrion Kross vs. Adam Cole vs. Kyle O’Reilly vs. Pete Dunne vs. Johnny Gargano
  • NXT Women’s Championship: Raquel Conzalez vs. Ember Moon
  • LA Knight vs. Cameron Grimes (Ted DiBiase at ringside, likely for Million Dollar Belt)
  • Xia Li vs. Mercedes Martinez

NXT Takeover: In Your House will take place on Sunday, June 13 from the Capitol Wrestling Center.

History Of Million Dollar Championship

In 1989, Ted DiBiase purchased the belt after failed attempts at winning or buying the WWE Championship. The title was retired from WWE television in 1992, but re-introduced and awarded to The Ringmaster (Steve Austin) in 1996. The title was abandoned shortly after his debut.

In 2010, Ted DiBiase Jr. began using the title, stating his father gave him the belt. He appeared on television for several months with the belt before it was abandoned later that year.
