Mark Carrano Fired From WWE

WWE Senior VP of Talent Relations Mark Carrano has been fired by the company.

As first reported by Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc, Carrano was dismissed from his duties following incidents that occurred with released WWE talent.

Earlier today, Mickie James tweeted a photo of a trash bag containing her belongings which were mailed to her after her release. Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and John Laurinaitis sent out tweets apologizing for the incident, and stated the employee responsible has been fired.

Shortly after the apologies, Fightful Select (subscription required) issued a report indicating John Laurinaitis personally called release talent and apologized. The report noted that Laurentius pointed the blame for the incidents to Carrano and that “it had been taken care of”.

Mark Carrano’s role in the company had largely been taken over by Laurinaitis, who is General Manager of Talent Relations for the company.

WWE fans may remember Carrano making appearances on the Total Divas series on E!.
