SmackDown To Have Live Fans This July?
WWE may be back on the road beginning this July.
According to Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Pro Wrestling, a WWE source has informed him that the company is planning to have fans back for main roster events beginning July 16. It wasn’t specified if this was simply a test or the company resuming touring full-time.
The message Zarian received stated, “Fans back July 16 – 19”. Those dates fall in line with Friday Night SmackDown and Monday Night RAW episodes.

Last month, PWInsider reported internal talks were underway regarding WWE wanting to run test events as early as July or August, and strategic planning was being done on how to introduce fans back.
Nick Khan recently stated that if/when WWE decides to hit the road, it will be for the long-term, and not a temporary solution. WWE is planning on having fans at this year’s SummerSlam pay-per-view.
No official announcements have been made from the company.
Earlier this week, All Elite Wrestling announced they will resume touring beginning with the July 7 edition of AEW Dynamite.
