Top IMPACT Star Caught The Eye Of WWE

WWE reportedly had interest in signing a top IMPACT star.

According to Fightful Select (subscription required), NXT sources reveal there was interest from WWE to sign Moose ahead of him becoming a free agent.

The company was hopeful they could sign him to a deal after his IMPACT contract expired, and he would head straight to the main roster.

WWE was unable to officially negotiate with him as IMPACT signed him to a new deal, which is reportedly two years in length, running until the summer of 2023.

Although no financial details are known on his new contract, it’s said to be significantly better than his previous one.

Moose has been working with IMPACT since 2016, winning the IMPACT Grand Championship twice, and more recently the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
