AEW World Champion Dealing With Injuries

AEW World Champion Kenny Omega has been dealing with a number of injuries as of late, but has continued to work through them.

The injuries include a deep bruise near his tailbone, athletic pubalgia (sports hernia), and “wear and tear” on his knees.

Dave Meltzer noted in the most recent issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Omega has been “feeling a lot better these days”, and has received stem cell treatment and PRP therapy.

The biggest issue was an athletic hernia and stem cell treatment and PRP therapy have helped a lot. He said it wasn’t night and day, but he felt it made a world of difference

Kenny Omega’s last match was against Jungle Boy during a special Saturday Night edition of AEW Dynamite on June 26.

His next advertised title defense is against Sami Callihan at IMPACT Slammivesary on July 16.
