WWE is reportedly expected to show interest in AEW wrestler Dralistico if he becomes a free agent.
According to WrestleVotes on Fightful Select, there is a feeling that Dralistico could be a significant acquisition for the WWE main roster and AAA if he becomes available. The report also says there is locker room support for bringing him in, which is not surprising given the relationships he already has in WWE.
His younger brother Dragon Lee is under contract to WWE. That family connection is part of why a move has been talked about, along with the idea that Dralistico could work in WWE, in AAA, or both.
Dralistico’s current AEW contract is believed to run into December. AEW is also reportedly expected to make him another contract offer before that deal expires. Dave Meltzer previously reported that AEW intended to offer him a new contract.
Dralistico has not wrestled for AEW or Ring of Honor since June. La Faccion Ingobernable has been inactive as a group, and Dralistico has been the least active of its members. Earlier in October, he posted an AI generated image of himself behind bars with the caption “Maybe not for long?”, which started talk that he wanted out.
No negotiations or agreement with WWE have been reported. Dralistico remains under contract to AEW, and WWE’s reported interest is tied to what happens when his deal runs out.
What is confirmed is the Fightful Select reporting, the reported December end to his deal, and his absence from AEW television since June. What is not confirmed is whether Dralistico will sign a new AEW deal, test free agency, or sign with WWE.
