For the last two years WWE has run their biggest show of the year, WrestleMania, over a two-night format, a strategy that many fans have welcomed as the Showcase of the Immortals was running seven-plus hours since Mania 32 in Texas.

According to Fightful Select, WWE is planning on WrestleMania 38 to also run over the course of two nights, with the current dates being Saturday April 2nd and Sunday April 3rd. The show will be held at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys in Arlington Texas.

The report is sure to mention that this would be the first two-night WrestleMania with a full capacity crowd, as Mania 36 was attended by zero fans due to the early days of the COVID-19 outbreak, and Mania 37 only having a limited capacity for the very same reason.

WWE has yet to officially confirm this news with an announcement, but word is that the roster is unanimously positive about the show being two-nights. It is noted in the report that there were several within WWE who were not convinced that Allegiant Stadium would work out for SummerSlam and even pushed for different cities days before WWE made it official, so there is not a 100% lock on Texas as of this writing.

As long as things hold up, it’d be the first two-night WrestleMania in front of a full crowd.

As cliche as “plans change” may be, they do, so nothing is official until the company announces it themselves.

Last year’s WrestleMania saw the Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair SmackDown women’s championship bout headline night one, and Roman Reigns defending the Universal title against Edge and Daniel Bryan in a triple-threat on night two.
