The Leader of the Yes Movement’s future has been plunged into even more confusion after WWE edited him out of a recent interview clip.

Daniel Bryan lost to Roman Reigns on SmackDown last month, with the stipulation being that he had to leave the blue brand. This instantly led to fans expecting him to move to Raw or NXT, however, this may not be the case.

Last week, several reports emerged revealing that Daniel Bryan’s contract with WWE had actually expired, meaning he could show up in any company without having to wait the usual 90 days.

WWE has now edited Bryan out of an interview clip posted to their YouTube. This was from a recent episode of ‘WWE After The Bell’, which saw NXT UK Champion Walter name Bryan as one of his three dream opponents. You can read his entire answer below.

“When I first got into watching other wrestling than WWE, I was watching a lot of Ring of Honor,” WALTER said. “A lot of those guys are the top guys in WWE right now, so Daniel Bryan would be one of the matches I’d really want to do. Obviously, Cesaro, that’s one. He left for America before I really got going in Germany and he’s, in general, a great role model for us German-speaking WWE talent. He’s always been super supportive as soon as we stepped foot in WWE he reached his hand out to be super supportive and he’s a fantastic wrestler so he would be one of the guys I would really like to face.”

“Regarding NXT right now, the one match I really wanted to do before COVID, and it has to happen, is against Finn Balor. Those would be the three.”

Bryan is yet to reveal his future plans, however, reports emerged last week stating that WWE was pushing for him to re-sign with them.
