Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton will settle their rivalry in a Last Man Standing match at Crown Jewel. The match was made official on the October 23 episode of SmackDown.

According to Fightful’s results from the show, Orton cut a promo in the ring and Rhodes interrupted, wanting a match right then. After producers stepped in to separate them, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced the two would face each other at Crown Jewel. Rhodes accepted, but said he wanted the match to be Last Man Standing.

Orton accepted the stipulation. In a Last Man Standing match, the only way to win is to keep your opponent down for a count of ten. There are no pinfalls, no submissions, no countouts, and no disqualifications.

The segment closed a night where the two men could not be kept apart. Orton said he was surprised Rhodes had punted Baron Corbin, and he bragged about being the one to break Rhodes earlier in his career. Rhodes answered by bringing up Orton’s past as the Legend Killer and the punt kicks that cost Orton chances at becoming the face of WWE.

Crown Jewel takes place on November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The show will air on ESPN Unlimited in the United States and on Netflix internationally.

What is confirmed is the match and the stipulation. The Crown Jewel card already includes Roman Reigns against Sami Zayn for the men’s Crown Jewel Championship and Liv Morgan against Chelsea Green for the women’s Crown Jewel Championship. WWE has not said whether the Rhodes and Orton match will close out their rivalry for good.
