Stephanie Vaquer is reportedly out indefinitely following her absence from Raw.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Vaquer’s absence is believed to be illness related. Cory Hays of False Finish followed up by saying that Vaquer will be out indefinitely. WWE has not announced a return date, and no specific illness has been named in the reporting.

The situation changed quickly over the weekend. On Saturday, Vaquer announced that she was cleared from her ankle injury and good to compete on Raw against Becky Lynch. When Raw opened on October 26, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced that Vaquer was not cleared, and the planned number one contender’s match against Lynch was pulled.

Lynch got the title match instead, facing Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan in the main event. Lynch won by disqualification after interference from The Judgment Day, but Morgan kept the championship. Tiffany Stratton then came to the ring with her Money in the Bank briefcase, but her cash in attempt did not become official after Dominik Mysterio pulled Morgan out of the ring.

Vaquer last wrestled at WWE live events in Hawaii on October 16 and 17. She competed at Money in the Bank in a triple threat match against Morgan and Lynch, losing the Women’s World Title to Morgan in that match.

Her absence leaves a hole in the women’s division heading into Crown Jewel on November 7. Morgan is set to face WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green for the women’s Crown Jewel Championship, while Lynch and Stratton both left Raw with unfinished business against Morgan.

What is confirmed is that Vaquer was not cleared for Raw, that her absence is believed to be illness related, and that new reporting describes her as out indefinitely. What is not confirmed is the nature of the illness, how long she will be out, or when she will return to television.
