WWE Crown Jewel has been moved to a new venue.
Riyadh Season announced the change on Wednesday, October 28. The event is still scheduled for Saturday, November 7.
“We would like to inform you that ‘WWE Crown Jewel’ has been moved to a new venue. All ticket holders will receive a full refund, and tickets will be re-released to everyone within the next 48 hours,” Riyadh Season wrote on X.
The announcement did not name the new venue, and it did not give a reason for the change. PWInsider reports the event will remain in Riyadh, but at a different location within the city.
WWE has not made its own official announcement on the move yet, according to Fightful.
Crown Jewel was originally set for Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD. That venue was confirmed on September 1, when the General Entertainment Authority, on behalf of Turki Alalshikh, in partnership with WWE, announced Crown Jewel would emanate from Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD.
The move follows weeks of security concerns in the region. Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport has reportedly been closed or running limited flights for much of October after attacks by Houthi forces in Yemen on October 10.
Before the move, WWE had continued to promote the show as live from Riyadh. On October 13, WWE chief content officer Triple H wrote on X: “Champions vs Champions. #WWECrownJewel is LIVE from Riyadh. Saturday, November 7th at 12pm ET.”
What is confirmed is the date, the venue change, the full refunds, and the tickets being re-released within 48 hours. What is not confirmed is the new venue, or whether WWE will issue its own statement.
