Last year, WWE announced that Batista would be headlining the 2020 Hall Of Fame ceremony. Due to the pandemic, this was pushed back to 2021, however, Batista won’t be entering the Hall Of Fame this year.
Rumors began to circle last week after Batista’s profile was removed from the WWE.com article, with Ringside News reporting that The Animal will no longer be appearing at the event.
Batista has now confirmed that he won’t be inducted into the Hall Of Fame this year. In an update posted to his Twitter account, Bautista mentioned that due to previous obligations, he wouldn’t be able to attend the event. Instead, he will be inducted at a future ceremony, where fans will be in attendance.
To the @WWEUniverse Unfortunately due to previous obligations I am unable to be a part of the @WWE #HOF this year. By my request they have agreed to induct me at a future ceremony where I’ll be able to properly thank the fans and people who made my career possible🙏🏼 #DreamChaser

The following superstars will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame on April 6th: Bella Twins, JBL, nWo, Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger, British Bulldog, Molly Molly and Eric Bischoff.
Rob Van Dam will also reportedly be inducted at the event. You can read more about this here.
