NWA Set To Host All-Women’s PPV

Last weekend, The National Wrestling Alliance held their ‘When Our Shadows Fall’ pay-per-view, which featured the crowning of a new NWA Women’s Champion, Kamille, defeating former champion and AEW wrestler Serena Deeb.

According to Fightful Select (subscription required), the NWA has been working on and plans to announce an all-women’s pay-per-view. August 28th was given as a potential date, however, this could easily change before the announcement.

During the pandemic, the NWA partnered with AEW to allow several crossover appearances for their women’s division. So far, this has seen NWA’s Thunder Rosa wrestle in the main event of AEW Dynamite along with several AEW pay-per-views, and AEW’s Serena Deeb hold the NWA Women’s Championship, defending the title in both promotions prior to her loss to Kamille.

During last week’s pay-per-view from the promotion, it was revealed that former AEW and IMPACT wrestler Kylie Rae had signed with the NWA, shortly after she made her return to wrestling following her retirement last year.

You can watch NWA’s weekly show, Powerrr, every Tuesday via FITE TV.
