On 3/2, Meehan’s lawyer filed a “Notice Of Dismissal” request in United States District Court Central District Of California. Meehan won a default judgment against the woman, due to her not responding to the summons.

REDACTED has not answered or filed a motion for summary judgment. This notice is made pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 41(a)(1)(A). His legal counsel says the defendant was served with a court summons and a copy of the complaint by a processing agent on 10/26. She did not respond to the summons or complaint.
According to court records, the summons was left at her home, but not personally served to her.
Earlier this month, a California judge dismissed Meehan’s case against three women who made accusations against him last summer.
The judge said Meehan “has not adequately responded to the OSC. It is well-established that a district court has authority to dismiss a plaintiff’s action due to her failure to prosecute and/or to comply with court orders”
On 1/4, a California judge dismissed Meehan’s case against former ROH wrestler Pelle Tsichilis, aka Pelle Primeau. That case has now been transferred to the Eastern District of Pennsylvania US District Court, and has been assigned to a judge as of 1/6. Pelle Primeau is currently crowdfunding legal fees to aid in fighting the case. On 2/24, he received a 30-day extension to answer the complaint. His reply is due on 3/26.
This week, an event scheduled for later this month was promoted featuring Joey Ryan.
“Wrestling For Women’s Charity” made a social media post advertising the event, which featured a number of top independent stars, as well as AEW talent.
The ticketing site revealed the show was promoted by Bar Wrestling, which is owned by Joey Ryan.
Tony Khan pulled AEW talent from the show, and Fite TV issued a statement indicating they would not air the show on their platform.
The event has since been canceled, with the Twitter account deleting all promotion.
