Former WWE Star Expected To Join AEW Women’s Division

All Elite Wrestling continues to add to its talent roster, and is expected to bring in another former WWE star to the company.

According to Fightful Select (subscription required), Ruby Suho (formerly Ruby Riott) is “making her way into the company, according to talent and industry insiders”.

Ruby’s WWE non-compete clause will run out prior to AEW All Out, but it’s unknown when she is debuting for the promotion. One promoter that reached out to her a month ago stated she was not taking bookings, which may indicate her plans to sign with AEW.

She has not done any appearances or autograph signings since exiting WWE, and has been keeping a low profile.

Ruby recently trademarked the name “The Runaway” to be used in professional wrestling. It’s unknown if she plans to use that moniker in addition to her new ring name.

As more details are known, an update will be provided.
