WWE is set to make an announcement today regarding NXT moving to the USA Network.
According to POST Wrestling, the first episode of NXT on USA is currently scheduled for Wednesday September 18 from Full Sail University in Orlando, FL
Due to the brand moving away from being a WWE Network exclusive, and airing on cable television, it’s expected it be treated more as a third brand, rather than a developmental league.
Vince McMahon is expected to have much more say in the product, due to it airing live opposite All Elite Wrestling’s TNT show.
All Elite Wrestling’s Chris Jericho spoke on the move today on Busted Open Radio, claiming the show will begin to air on USA Network on September 25.
It was originally thought the show could air as early as September 11, but the current scheduled plan is September 18, giving the company a two week jump on AEW’s TNT show on October 2.
WWE is expected to make the announcement tonight on RAW.
