Kevin Owens’ WWE contract is expiring sooner than many thought.

On Wednesday, Owens posted and deleted the co-ordinates to Mount Rushmore, causing fans to speculate him reuniting with current members of the AEW roster. Prior to signing with WWE, Owens was part of “The Mount Rushmore Of Wrestling” alongside The Young Bucks and Adam Cole.

According Fightful Select (subscription required), Kevin Owens contract is actually be up sooner than most thought. It was thought that the contract was up in 2023, but it now appears that it will be up in January 2022.

The deal was apparently restructured, as others were as well, during the pandemic. There are no specific details as to why his contract was altered that are available.

Kevin Owens has been competing with WWE since 2014.
