Triple H hosted the NXT Takeover: XXX conference call Wednesday afternoon, fielding questions from journalists regarding this weekend’s event.
Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net asked Triple H about his recent comments to CBS on Veleveteen Dream’s absence from WWE. He asked what investigative steps were taken looking into allegations levied against Velveteen Dream, and whether WWE would contact an online accuser who states the company has not contacted him.
Triple H reiterated, WWE takes all allegations seriously, but have moved on, as they “didn’t find anything there”. He also states that if there is something else to look into, they will take those steps, but would rather speak on other topics.
Jason Powell: You mentioned in a CBS interview, that the allegations made against Patrick Clark were looked into. There is an online accuser who seems to offer some compelling evidence, and he said no-one from the company has reached out to him. Nia Jax has also had some online negatively in response to what you said. Can you talk about the investigative steps that you guys took? For that matter, is anyone going to reach out to this accuser? Is this matter closed, or is it still open?
Triple H: Obviously we take all of these things very seriously, allegations, misconduct, of any nature. I’ll stand by what I said on CBS, we looked into it, we didn’t find anything there, in a manner of what we were looking for, and we’ve moved on, but it doesn’t change the fact that we take it seriously, if there is something else there, we’ll look into it, that goes across the board for anybody, but we’ve already talked about it, so I’d rather just move on to other topics
