WWE’s contract with The Amway Center in Orlando, FL will expire on 10/31, the company has began brainstorming ideas to present their shows from a new location following that date.
Wrestlevotes provided some details on WWE’s plan to move forward with producing shows at a new location. According to the report, WWE has put together a team to find an outdoor venue in Southern states to produce both RAW and SmackDown weekly.
Over the past week or so, WWE assembled a small team to figure out if running TV from outdoors venues would be fesisble once the ThunderDome contract expires. Idea is both SD & RAW would be in same location each week. Southern states with good weather is the preference. All TBD.

WWE’s residency with Amway Center allows the company to use the facility for television production on Monday’s, Friday’s, and select Sunday’s for pay-per-view events. The company pushed the date for Hell In A Cell from 11/1 to 10/25 to allow them to produce one final pay-per-view from the venue.
WWE has a city in mind for the 2021 Royal Rumble event, but have yet to confirm a location, keeping an eye on how NBA and NHL will handle their next seasons in terms and capacity levels at arenas.
The company has three pay-per-view events (Hell In A Cell, Suvivor Series, TLC) scheduled for the remainder of the year.
