WWE is responding to allegations brought forward by an anonymous employee.
Tuesday evening, the Orange County Board of Directors read a statement by an employee named “John” who claimed he is being forced to worked amid the coronavirus pandemic.
WWE issued the following statement to PWInsider.
“These accusations aren’t true. Employees know they can confidentially go to Human Resources, not the public. Notwithstanding the appropriate protocol, no one would be fired if they were uncomfortable with their surroundings. We’ve made accommodations for individuals upon request.”
The employee in question feared for his job if concerns were brought to higher-ups in the company.
I am reaching out to @WWE and @GovRonDeSantis about these continuing health and safety concerns. https://t.co/NIasNYT7n8

Those who were spoken with state they are not being forced to work, but are uncomfortable letting the company know if they did not want to, especially following the recent layoffs.
