WWE Caters To Serious Belt Collectors
WWE has teamed up with Wildcat Belts to sell “TV Authentic” WWE and Universal Championship belts.
These titles use the exact same leather straps as the ones WWE uses on television. WWE states, “The back of this title is identical to the ones seen on TV, as the main plate screws are covered with a second layer of leather backing.”
With a $5000 price-tag, these titles are meant for serious collectors. Previously, WWE released an “Elite” version title, with a price-tag of $2000. Those titles weighted less, and did not use the same leather straps as authentic titles held on television.
These titles are now the second most-expensive item on the WWE Shop. WWE recently released a limited edition of ‘The Fiend’s” Universal Championship, priced at $6500.
