Current WWE Stars May Be Worried About Their Spots
Last night on RAW, four top NXT stars debuted, and this caught a lot of the roster by surprise.
According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider Elite, current roster members didn’t have any prior knowledge to Tommaso Ciampa, Ricochet, Aleister Black, and Johnny Gargano debuting on RAW.
When the NXT stars arrived at the building the feeling with some talent was “why are they here?”, and “are they coming for my spots?”.
Johnson stated NXT stars definitely saw some “side-eye” from current stars due to not knowing what their role was going forward. Although there was no anger or resentment, these talent are paying closer attention to their own spot in the company.
This feedback wasn’t from the last batch of NXT call-ups, but existing mid card talent, some who may have just began a push.
There is still some unanswered questions regarding the future of the NXT debuts. Will they be on RAW every week, will they be brought in occasionally?
Based on last night’s RAW it would seem they have all been called up, but like always this could always change.
