John Cena is making more stops on the road to The John Cena Classic.
According to Fightful, WWE announced that Cena will be live on the November 13 episode of SmackDown and the November 16 episode of Raw. Cena announced the details of the John Cena Classic on Raw on November 2, and he said he would be on Wednesday’s NXT and at Survivor Series, while noting he would also appear on upcoming episodes of Raw and SmackDown.
The John Cena Classic is set for December 14 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Disney World in Orlando. Cody Rhodes was announced as the first entrant, and the event will feature main roster talent against NXT Superstars. It will stream live on Netflix as a special edition of Raw.
Cena’s November dates fill in the build to that event. He is already set for NXT on Wednesday, November 4, where he will appear on the same night AEW presents Blood and Guts. He will then be on SmackDown on November 13 and Raw on November 16, giving WWE three more television dates to build the Classic.
Cena returned to Raw on November 2 in Brooklyn for a special announcement, his first Raw appearance since retiring as an active wrestler in November 2025. The Brooklyn crowd gave him a huge reaction as he revealed the December 14 date and location, and the first invitee.
The Classic itself will end by announcing the top Superstar of the night, as decided by the WWE Universe. Members of Club WWE will vote in real time for their favorite Superstar performance.
No matches have been announced for Cena’s November 13 or November 16 appearances yet. WWE announced the dates only, with details to follow as the shows get closer.
For now, the schedule is clear. Cena will be on NXT, then SmackDown, then Raw, before the Classic takes over Disney World in December.
