A women’s Blood and Guts match is set for AEW Blood and Guts.
The match was made official on the October 24 episode of AEW Collision, after a tag team match between Divine Dominion and Wrathlander ended in disqualification. Sisters of Sin interfered in that match, attacking Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron, and Willow Nightingale came out to even the odds.
The match will see Willow Nightingale, Wrathlander, and The Brawling Birds take on Divine Dominion and Triangle of Madness. Wrathlander is Statlander and Cameron. The Brawling Birds are Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor. Divine Dominion is Megan Bayne and Lena Kross. Triangle of Madness is Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue.
The challenge came in a backstage segment later in the show. Willow and Wrathlander said they wanted the Blood and Guts match, and The Brawling Birds wanted in as well. AEW then made the match official.
This adds a second Blood and Guts match to the November 4 show. The men’s match is already set, with Adam Copeland, Steven Borden, Darby Allin, the Young Bucks, and Will Ospreay facing The Don Callis Family.
The women’s division has been building to this for weeks. Wrathlander are set to challenge The Brawling Birds for the AEW Women’s Tag Team Titles at Full Gear, but the issues with Divine Dominion and Triangle of Madness have now pulled all three teams into one match first.
What is confirmed is the full lineup for the women’s match and the November 4 date. What is not confirmed is whether the Full Gear tag team title match changes because of what happens in Blood and Guts.
