The Bang Bang Gang and The Dogs now have an official name as a group. They will be known as The Last Outfit.
Jay White revealed the name on the October 24 episode of AEW Collision. White said the alliance needed a new name, and he teased using the Bullet Club name before announcing The Last Outfit instead.
“You better be DOWN with The Last Outfit!” White said on the show.
The two groups joined forces on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. The Dogs, David Finlay and Clark Connors, aligned with The Bang Bang Gang after an attack on the Death Riders. The Bang Bang Gang is White, Juice Robinson, Ace Austin, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn.
That makes seven wrestlers in the new group. White and Finlay both have history leading versions of Bullet Club in New Japan Pro Wrestling, which is why the tease landed with the crowd before White moved past it.
On Collision, White also called out Jon Moxley. The Death Riders are the group’s first target, and the attack on Dynamite was the start of that issue. Moxley and the Death Riders answered later on Collision, with Moxley warning White that they were ready for a fight.
The name gives AEW a new major faction heading into the build to Full Gear. It also settles the question of what to call the alliance, after the two groups simply appeared together on Dynamite without a shared name.
What is confirmed is the name, the seven members, and the issue with the Death Riders. What is not confirmed is when The Last Outfit will get their first match as a full group, or what their next move against the Death Riders will be.
