Two matches have been added to the October 26 episode of WWE Raw.
According to Fightful, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced the matches in a video posted on Sunday. IYO SKY will face Raquel Rodriguez in singles action, and Chad Gable will team with Dragon Lee against Big Cass and Ethan Page.
Pearce teased that SKY can earn a shot at Rodriguez’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship if she beats her on Raw. That gives the match title implications without it being announced as a title match itself.
The Gable and Dragon Lee tag team match pairs the Men’s Intercontinental Champion with Dragon Lee against Page and Big Cass. Gable successfully defended his title last week before being attacked after the match.
The two new matches complete a four match card for Raw from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. The show airs live on Netflix at 8 p.m. ET.
The other two matches were already announced. Stephanie Vaquer faces Becky Lynch, with the winner becoming the number one contender to Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship. Bayley faces Lyra Valkyria in a No Disqualification match.
Vaquer was cleared to return over the weekend after an ankle injury suffered at Money in the Bank. Lynch proposed the number one contender’s match on Raw on October 19, and Pearce made it official once Vaquer was cleared.
Raw is the final episode before the build to Crown Jewel on November 7. Morgan is set to face Chelsea Green for the women’s Crown Jewel Championship at that show, so the number one contender’s match has a direct line to the title picture.
What is confirmed is the four match card and the stakes Pearce laid out for SKY. What is not confirmed is when SKY would get her title match if she wins on Raw.
