Jacob Fatu’s WWE return is reportedly not far off, with the former United States Champion expected back in time for Survivor Series WarGames.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Fatu was filming WWE content on Tuesday alongside other wrestlers expected to be part of the WarGames match at Survivor Series. The report says Fatu is expected to join Roman Reigns, The Usos and Solo Sikoa in a five on five WarGames match against 946.
Fatu has been off WWE television since the September 28 episode of Raw, when Jaida Parker ran him over with a car backstage and was revealed as a member of 946. Fatu was taken away in an ambulance in the angle, and he has not been seen on television since. His last televised match was August 3 on Raw, when he beat Royce Keys in a Street Fight.
The reported WarGames lineup would put the Bloodline’s five against 946’s five of Royce Keys, Carmelo Hayes, Cruz Montana, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price. Montana joined 946 on the November 2 episode of Raw, filling out the group after his call up from NXT. Dave Meltzer also reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the match is essentially in place, though WWE has not announced any matches for Survivor Series.
Survivor Series WarGames takes place Saturday, November 28, at Daikin Park in Houston, Texas. Before that, Reigns defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn in a champion against champion match at Crown Jewel on Saturday, November 7, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
What is confirmed is PWInsider’s report that Fatu is filming WarGames content, and that the planned match is the Bloodline against 946. What is not confirmed is when Fatu returns to television, or whether WWE announces the WarGames match before Survivor Series.
